Todd Frazier thrilled the fans in Cincinnati on Monday night by winning the Home Run Derby in front of the hometown Reds fans.

Someone should tell the MLB.com store.

Frazier was able to edge out Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson in an incredible final round to win the title, becoming just the second player to win the Home Run Derby in his home park. However, on Tuesday morning, MLB.com was running an ad telling fans they could buy derby gear with a note reading “Congratulations Joc Pederson 2015 Home Run Derby Champ.”

Home Run derby shopWhoops.

Of course, this is just a small error, and things like this happen from time to time. But on the slowest of slow news days on the sports calendar, this is what constitutes news on the sports Internet. Sorry.
