Someone in Gainesville, Fla., didn’t like kids being kids. So a cop showed up and handled the situation.
Gainesville police officer Bobby White responded to a noise complaint over some kids playing an innocent game of pickup basketball in the streets. Dashcam footage caught the whole thing on tape, and what ensued was a scene that might actually make you feel good about the world for a minute or two.
White calmly took stock of the situation, explaining everything to the boys before grabbing the ball and starting to shoot hoops with the kids. Eventually, even more of the neighborhood boys came out to play, which ultimately led to the rim being lowered and White showing off his jumping ability — or lack thereof.

The video is going viral, and as of Friday morning, it had more than 4 million views, per the Gainesville Police Department’s Facebook page.
