The Dallas Stars made the Stanley Cup playoffs with the second-most points in the NHL, but their championship quest took a bit of a hit Thursday.
The Stars will be without star center Tyler Seguin for Game 1 of their first-round playoff matchup with the Minnesota Wild. Seguin missed the stretch run with an Achilles injury, but it’s not expected to keep him sidelined long-term. But sometimes all it takes is one game to steal the momentum in the postseason, and the Wild certainly hope that will be the case.
