Did Draymond Green do it (on purpose)?

That’s been the question on everyone’s mind after the Golden State Warriors forward controversially kicked Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams in the groin during OKC’s blowout win in Game 3 of the NBA’s Western Conference finals.

Green insists the play was an accident, Russell Westbrook thinks he’s a liar and Adams apparently doesn’t care. The NBA, meanwhile, has yet to announce whether it will suspend Green for his actions.

If you, like us, think this whole controversy is a little silly, you’re not alone. The folks at The Ringer, Bill Simmons’ latest media venture, decided to have a little fun with Green’s incident by mixing it with footage from FX’s recent series, “American Crime Story,” which is based on O.J. Simpson’s murder trial.

The results were pretty awesome.

Not for nothing, but we’d watch “The People v. Draymond Green: A W.C.F. Crime Story.”

Of course, the stakes were just a bit higher for O.J. (a potential life sentence) than Green (a potential one-game suspension). That said, the Warriors are in a 2-1 series hole and might be in big trouble if they don’t have Green for Tuesday’s Game 4 in OKC.
