One of boxing’s biggest stars will help break in Las Vegas’ newest playground Saturday night.
Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez will put his belt on the line against Amir Khan at the brand-new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Alvarez (46-1-1 32 KOs) has won four consecutive fights — his last and only loss coming at the hands of Floyd Mayweather. Khan (31-3) has won his last five bouts, but he’s still a pretty heavy underdog.
The fight is the main event of a stacked card that can be seen on HBO pay-per-view with coverage beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
