NHL Draft Order 2016: Bruins Own 29th Pick After Sharks Lose Stanley Cup Final

As Lord Stanley’s Cup is raised, the 2016 NHL Draft order officially is set in stone.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will pick 30th after winning the 2016 Stanley Cup Final, while the runners-up San Jose Sharks spotĀ into the 29th slot. The Sharks won’t make that pick, though, as the Boston Bruins own the pick as part of the trade that sent goalie Martin Jones to San Jose last summer.

Here’s the final order, barring any trades, for the first round of the draft.
