Skip Bayless Believes In Tim Tebow’s Baseball Dream (To No One’s Surprise)

Tim Tebow drew mixed reviews for his performance during Tuesday’s baseball showcase, but Skip Bayless thought the (former?) NFL quarterback did enough to warrant a contract from a Major League Baseball organization.

This isn’t to say Bayless believes Tebow will crack a big league roster anytime soon. He said he gives the polarizing quarterback a “long shot shot” at someday reaching The Show.

But Bayless clearly has more confidence in Tebow’s baseball ability than most, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who’ve watched the controversial TV personality gush over Tebow ever since the QB tore it up at the University of Florida.

“At 255 (pounds), he can run, he can throw well enough, he can be a serviceable outfielder. I think he could play first base for somebody, he could DH for somebody,” said Bayless, who gave Tebow a “B” for his performance Tuesday, to TMZ Sports. “And this is the guy, under pressure with the game on the line, you don’t bet against.”
