It’s no surprise when Conor McGregor spouts off some expletive-laden rant, proclaiming himself the greatest fighter in the world. And based on his results, nothing in the octagon really surprises us either.

Therefore, it should be no surprise when one of his fans does the same, which is exactly what happened at the UFC 205 press conference Tuesday at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Toward the end of the approximately 40-minute presser, a fan wearing a tie and sitting behind the credentialed media stood up and got hold of the microphone to ask Eddie Alvarez, the UFC lightweight champion and McGregor’s next opponent, a compelling question.

Earlier in the press conference, Alvarez spoke about prior comments he made regarding McGregor — essentially saying the 28-year-old Irishman only has two or three good rounds in him per fight, alluding to the idea that McGregor can’t last in a five-round match against a top-notch opponent.

The scene quickly devolved into a raucous spattering of expletives. Both McGregor and his army of fans in attendance got fired up before The Notorious himself stepped in and took over the question that ultimately ended the event.

Check out the hilarity that ensued below.
