David Ortiz’s career is nearing an end, although the white-hot Boston Red Sox hope the designated hitter’s stay with them extends through late October.

Ortiz announced his intentions to retire at the end of the 2016 season before the campaign began, and that has turned it into a big retirement party. Teams across baseball have showered Ortiz with gifts all season, and Major League Baseball did its part Friday with a nice highlight video celebrating the slugger’s career.

MLB pushed this 30-second video send-off, with a perfect tagline celebrating one of the most clutch hitters in baseball history.

Nine regular-season games remain in Ortiz’s career, but if the Red Sox continue to play well — Boston has eight wins in its last 10 games, and its magic number to win the AL East is down to five — Big Papi will have one final chance to win his fourth World Series in Boston.
