Watford very well could face Manchester United’s wrath, despite having done nothing to incur it.
Watford will host Manchester United on Sunday at Vicarage Road in the Premier League. Manchester United is looking to rebound from two consecutive losses, and a game against Watford could provide the perfect tonic. After all, Manchester United hasn’t lost to Watford since Sept. 16, 1986.
Expect Wayne Rooney, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia to return to Manchester United’s lineup. The trio sat out Thursday’s UEFA Europa League loss to Feyenoord.
Watford will be without forward Stefano Okaka, who suffered a hamstring injury last weekend. Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Prodl are in a race against time to recover for the Manchester United game.
