Week 7 already is here with Thursday’s matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, and you likely have a few fantasy football questions on your mind before you set your final lineup.

Luckily for you, we’re here to help with our “Thursday Night Football” start/sit advice.

Chicago Bears
Quarterback: Brian Hoyer is one of the biggest surprises of the season. With Jay Cutler sidelined, Hoyer has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the past four games with six touchdown passes and zero interceptions. And there’s plenty of reasons to believe that trend could continue against a banged-up Packers defense.

Running Back: Jeremy Langford is doubtful, so definitely don’t start him. Jordan Howard had a nice string of back-to-back 100-plus-yard games, but he took a step back against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Ka’Deem Carey, who saw his reps increased last week, is questionable with a hamstring injury. There are just way too many variables to start a Bears running back this week.

Wide Receiver: Eddie Royal won’t play Thursday, which is good news for Cameron Meredith and Alshon Jeffery fantasy owners. Meredith has over 100 receiving yards in each of the last two games, and while Jeffery still doesn’t have a touchdown, he’s had under 70 receiving yards just once.

Tight End: Zach Miller also should benefit from Royal’s absence. Miller has been one of Hoyer’s favorite targets since Cutler’s injury.

Defense: The Packers haven’t looked like themselves on offense, but they still are way too dangerous to have the Bears as your defense this week.

Green Bay Packers
Quarterback: Yes, Aaron Rodgers is having a down season so far, but unless you have Matt Ryan or another fantasy no-brainer on your bench, you’re still going to start Rodgers and hope for the best.

Running Back: The Packers are a mess at running back. The Packers already ruled out Eddie Lacy for Thursday’s game (and he could be out for a while), which is why Green Bay traded for Knile Davis this week. Starting Davis right away in fantasy would be a risky choice, though.

Wide Receiver: Just when fantasy owners were ready to give up on Randall Cobb, he had 108 receiving yards two weeks ago and 53 yards with a touchdown Sunday. More importantly, Rodgers seems to have gained back some trust in Cobb, as he targeted the wideout 11 times in both of those games. Jordy Nelson was held without a touchdown for the first time last week, but both of these wide receivers are solid starts this week.

Tight End: Don’t start a Packers tight end. Ever.

Defense: You could do worse than starting the Packers on defense, but they certainly aren’t a great option most weeks.
