Gym Owner Claims He Never Met Clemens A former Houston-area gym owner who was subpoenaed to testify to a grand jury regarding Roger Clemens claims that he never met the pitcher or any of his trainers, the Associated Press reports.

The subpoena came from the grand jury investigating Clemens for perjury — an investigation that began in February of 2008.

The owner, Kelly Blair, said that the allegations
cost him his business and that he is looking forward to the opportunity
to clear things up in front of Congress.

“I’m ready for this to be over with, man,” Blair told the AP. “I
have a lot to say in front of a federal grand jury. I am really excited
about that.”

While Blair denies any involvement with Clemens, he has admitted that he once provided Andy Pettite’s father with human growth hormone, according to the AP.

“The FBI has to know that I’m not involved in this,” Blair said to
the AP. “They have my bank statements and my phone records, my whole
life. I’m just going to go out there and tell the truth.

“I know that in the end, the truth is going to come out,” he added. “And I’m just really excited about getting that out there.”
