Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to Throw Out First Pitch at Red Sox-Yankees Game

United States Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotomayor will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Red Sox-Yankees game on Sept. 26 at Yankee Stadium.

Sotomayor, a native of the Bronx, was selected to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month and her first pitch will come before the AL East rivals play on Saturday at 4:10 p.m. ET.

Also in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the president of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, will throw out the first pitch on Friday, Sept. 25, prior to the series opener between the Yankees and Red Sox.
