BOSTON — NESN, New England’s most watched sports network, will produce expanded Red Sox playoff coverage this October that will include comprehensive hour-long pre- and postgame shows, expanded playoff coverage on NESN SportsDesk and unique, online-only content at NESN.com. NESN kicks off "Soxtober" with The Red Sox Playoff Preview hosted by Tom Caron on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Tom Caron will host all of NESN’s Soxtober pre- and postgame coverage. Jerry Remy and Jim Rice will serve as studio analysts for the American League Division Series against the Angels. Heidi Watney, Dave Roberts (away games) and NESN Insider Tony Massarotti (home games) will report live from the ballpark before and after every game.
NESN.com will offer unique content, exclusive features and blogs from NESN’s Heidi Watney and Tom Caron. NESN.com’s "Leading Off" pregame report will be the first place that Red Sox fans can look to get the lineups and latest news and notes from the ballpark before every game.
