A Swedish ice hockey referee died Jan. 30 after being struck in the head by a puck in a junior hockey game.
Roland Hedberg, 62, was hit by the puck when a player lobbed it into the offensive zone during an under-18 game in northern Sweden.
According to The Associated Press, it was unclear whether he died from being hit by the puck or from hitting his head on the ice after falling.
Hedberg received CPR within 10 seconds of the accident but was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hospital.
