Wrestling fans experienced a new form of Hulkamania on Monday night.
According to SportsRadioInterviews.com, Hulk Hogan has become the commissioner of Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, and he appeared on Monday's TNA iMPACT as a rival to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), his long-time employer.
Hogan and wrestler Abyss faced Ric Flair and A.J. Styles in the opening moments of the Spike TV show that aired in the same time-slot as WWE's Monday Night Raw.
Despite his advanced age, Hogan, 56, still loves wrestling.
"I need the fix. I love this business," Hogan told Washington's 106.7 The Fan before Monday's match. "I just touch the ring and I get goose bumps like I am touching a female shaved body, brother. I am in for life."
The former reality TV star will make his presence felt as TNA commissioner.
"You will see that I am running the show," Hogan said. "I am the guy. I am the commissioner."
Hogan will make several ring appearances this year with TNA, appearances that may help TNA's audience grow.
