David Krejci's Performance Against Sabres Earns Him Arbella Player of the Week Heading into the Bruins' series with Buffalo, the biggest challenge facing the B's was Ryan Miller, who may just be the best goaltender in the world.

Obviously, goals would be at a premium, but thanks to guys like David Krejci, they came in bunches.

Krejci scored twice in the decisive Game 6, giving the Bruins their first 1-0 lead of the series in the opening period and stretching the lead to 3-1 early in the third. He spent his time between those goals assisting on Mark Recchi's goal, which came on the power play and gave the B's a 2-0 lead in the second. All three of the goals proved to be crucial, as the B's walked away with a narrow 4-3 victory.

"It was huge, to play with the lead the whole game, and it's much more fun when you have a lead," Krejci said. "I think we controlled it pretty good and we didn't sit back. We kept going forward and got a couple more goals in the third and that's why we won the game."

Krejci's postseason production, which includes three goals and two assists, is simply a continuation of the end of his regular season. He tallied five assists in the final five games of the season, helping the Bruins to a 4-1 record in that span. As a result, they got the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and now have home-ice advantage in the second round of the playoffs.

Despite the added pressures of postseason play, however, Krejci isn't worrying about anything but the task at hand.

"I don't believe in experience," he said. "I just go out there and try to play my game, you know. I'm not looking [at] what happened in the past. I just want to play my game and help the team to win."
