Ryan Kalish talked about the excitement he felt when first finding out he had been drafted by the Boston Red Sox, while The Boston Globe’s Peter Abraham discussed Red Sox draft picks.
“It was crazy, it was insane,” Kalish told NESN about the day he had been drafted. “We kind of had an inkling that they might take me and we were set for it. It was awesome.”
NESN’s Tom Caron talked Abraham to discuss some of the Red Sox’ early-round picks. Abraham said that the established college players that Red Sox drafted in the early rounds, could make contributions before too long.
“These are guys who could make an immediate impact on the organization,” Abraham said.
He also went on to say that because the draft picks were so experienced that they could be ready for Boston as early as next year.
