Postseason baseball used to be about drama, sacrifice and heroic plays made by heroic athletes as the world watches on.
Nowadays, it’s about TBS embedding an awful song into your brain with its constant promotions.
For the last two years, it’s been Bon Jovi — along with Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley and the TBS studio crew — awkwardly rocking out to “We Weren’t Born to Follow” and “I Love This Town.” This fall, it’s going to be Kid Rock‘s “Born Free” playing over and over and over and over and over — sorry, I already blacked out watching this promo and at the thought of the torturous din that lies ahead.
Whatever happened to “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”? Oh, right, the Cubs ruined that one.

Comment of the Day
After Tyler Seguin showed up with a scar (compliments of rival forward, Mike Cammalleri) at a recent photo shoot, one has to wonder if the big, bad B’s took notice.
And for the record, the Habs take on the B’s on Thursday, Nov. 11 at the TD Garden in their first meeting of the year.
Video of the Day
If you bring your glove to a game, you’re bound to catch a foul ball. Or at least two foul balls and one short-hopper to the face.
Step aside, Dude Perfect, there’s a new sheriff in town.
