Roush Fenway Making Pit Stop in Boston

Roush Fenway will be holding a “Boston Race Party” at Sam Adams Park in Boston on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 12 p.m.

Four Sprint Cup show cars will be at the event, along with Sprint Cup drivers Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, David Ragan and Greg Biffle. They will be joined by Roush Fenway owner Jack Roush.

“Boston Race Party” is the first event of its kind for Roush in Boston. There will be a special edition of NESN Daily airing at 11p.m on Friday, Sept 17, called Roush Fenway Racing: Welcome to Boston.

The park is located between Faneuil Hall and City Hall Plaza, and Boston mayor Thomas Menino is expected to make an appearance as well.

Roush Fenway Racing is coming to Boston advance of the NASCAR Sylvania 300 at Loudon, N.H., on Sunday, Sept. 19. NESN will have extensive coverage of all the festivities and will air a special edition of NESN Daily called Roush Fenway Racing: Welcome to Boston on Friday, Sept. 17 at 11 p.m.
