Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Tabbed to Sing National Anthem for Bruins’ Garden Opener

Steven Tyler is no stranger to Boston, so he'll feel right at home on Thursday night on the TD Garden ice.

The Bruins announced that the frontman of the Boston-based band Aerosmith will sing the National Anthem in front of Bruins fans when the B's open their home schedule Thursday night against the Washington Capitals.

Tyler will be in town promoting a raffle in conjunction with the Bruins. The season-long raffle is for a motorcycle autographed by Tyler and a few Bruins' greats including: Ray Bourque, Cam Neely, Phil Esposito, Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and Milan Lucic.

The raffle is to benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and fans can purchase raffle tickets by visiting www.bruinsraffles.org.
