Gregory Campbell Comes Out Swinging, But Bruins Lack Punch in Opener There were some bright spots, yes, but all in all, it was a forgettable open to the 2010-11 season for the Bruins on Saturday in Prague, Czech Republic.

The B's came out and played uninspired hockey for two periods, falling behind before finally getting on the board in the third period on their way to losing 5-2 to the Phoenix Coyotes.

Despite the disappointment of losing the opener, the day wasn't a total loss for the Bruins. Newly acquired Nathan Horton has come as advertised so far. After a strong preseason, the veteran winger scored both Bruins goals on Saturday. The club is hopeful that he can continue to provide them with a scoring touch they lacked severely last season.

Also, center Gregory Campbell, who came over in the same trade with the Florida Panthers that Horton did, showed he's ready to buy into the B's new committment to playing even tougher by dropping the gloves in the third period. Campbell got a couple of good shots in on Phoenix center Vernon Fiddler before dragging Fiddlger to the ice.

The Bruins don't have much time to dwell on their loss, as they take the ice again on Sunday before heading back to the United States.
