Red Sox manager Terry Francona loves his coaching staff, but before too long, he's probably going to have to start looking for replacements.

The latest rumor involves Francona's bench coach, DeMarlo Hale. The 49-year-old will be interviewing for the vacant position with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Tornto Sun is reporting. The managerial hole was left by Cito Gatson who announced his retirement following a second stint with the Jays.

Hale, a former third base coach for Francona and a minor league manager as well, is on the short list of candidates to replace Gatson.

Hale replaced former Sox bench coach, Brad Mills, who just finished his first season managing the Houston Astros. There are many who believe that Boston pitching coach John Farrell is also a candidate for managerial positions this offseason.
