The Tennessee Titans have put in a claim for Randy Moss on the NFL's waiver wire, according to Don Banks of Sports Illustrated.
UPDATE, 4:19 p.m.: The Titans were awarded Moss. Read about it here.
That does not, however, mean Moss will become a Titan, as the team sits in line at 22nd on the waiver wire.
The claim does, however, exclude teams ranked 23rd-32nd from claiming Moss, thereby eliminating the possibility of the Patriots reacquiring Moss.
Earlier, Danny O'Neill of the Seattle Times reported that the Seahawks did not place a claim on Moss. Several reports have also indicated that the St. Louis Rams did not place a claim on him, either.
Banks reported that Miami and New Orleans may have an interest in Moss. Both teams are ranked ahead of the Titans.
