Which Bruins Goalie Owns the Franchise Record for Most Shutouts in a Single Season? Tim Thomas is rattling off shutouts left and right this season.

The Tank now has eight on the season, thanks to the Bruins’ 7-0 blank job over the Canadiens on Thursday night in Boston. Thomas enters the weekend tied with Carey Price for second in the league behind New York’s Henrik Lundqvist (10 shutouts), whom the B’s will likely be firing upon come Saturday afternoon in the North End.

Many legendary netminders have manned the pipes for the Black and Gold over the years, but which goalie holds the franchise record for most shutouts in a single season?

For every NESN televised Bruins home game this season, NESN and The Four’s will be teaming up to offer B’s fans the chance at winning a $50 gift card to The Four’s Restaurant and Sports Bar by simply answering a trivia question found at NESN.com/thefours. Questions will be posted at noon every afternoon on the day of a Bruins home game, unless otherwise noted.
