Red Sox, Cubs Sport Throwback Uniforms to Commemorate 1918 World Series The atmosphere at Fenway Park on Saturday was certainly a bit different than what fans are accustomed to.

There was no music, no public address announcer and the scoreboard had a different look. All of this was part of the team's efforts to replicate what it was like in 1918, when the Red Sox and Cubs squared off in the World Series.

Both teams also sported retro uniforms as part of the festivities. The Red Sox' throwback uniform was a basic, off-white jersey coupled with an all-white hat. The Cubs, on the other hand, wore pinstriped jerseys that featured "Cubs" written on the left portion of the chest.

While the Red Sox certainly didn't like the game's outcome, falling 9-3, the game provided some memorable sights.

What do you think of the throwback jerseys worn by the Red Sox and Cubs. Share your thoughts below.
