Is Boston or Vancouver a Tougher Place to Play for the Road Team? The Stanley Cup will be in Boston on Monday night when the Bruins and Canucks square off in Game 6.

But for the Cup to be given out, something will have to happen that hasn't happened all series. The road team, the Canucks in this case, will have to win.

It makes sense when you think about it that both teams have held serve up until this point, as both teams seem incredibly comfortable at home.

While the Bruins were a tremendous road team throughout the regular season and up until the Cup Final, Rogers Arena has become a house of horrors for them.

The B's have been in every game, but they've yet to come away with a win in three games at Vancouver. Much of that stems from an inability to put the puck in the net on the road.

The Canucks obviously seemed to feed off their home crowd, especially in Game 5. After being embarrassed in Games 3 and 4 in Boston, Vancouver came out with a vengeance in Game 5. They were flying around the ice from the opening faceoff, taking the body to the Bruins whenever they got the chance. That energy fed the Canucks, and they gave possibly their best defensive effort all series.

However, as much trouble as playing in Vancouver gave the Bruins, the Canucks looked lost skating around the TD Garden ice. The B's absolutely throttled the Canucks in Games 3 and 4, winning the two games by a combined score of 12-1.

Over the course of the playoffs, the Bruins have become nearly unbeatable, feeding off of a raucous Garden crowd. That same crowd seems to inspire the Bruins to play the type of hockey that makes them successful.

The Canucks have earned the right to have home-ice advantage for the Stanley Cup Final, and if things remain the same, that may end up being the biggest factor of all in this Final.
