There is a total lunar eclipse set to occur on June 15, 2011. How is this pertinent information? Well, as diehard Boston sports fans will remind you, the lunar phenomenon also occurred on Oct. 27, 2004 — the day the Red Sox ended an 86-year drought by winning the 2004 World Series.
TheBostonChannel.com points out that the lunar eclipse won't be visible from North America, but it is supposed to last 100 minutes, the longest in 11 years.
