Bruins’ Celebration Reaches New York City As Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas, Patrice Bergeron Appear On NBC’s ‘Today Show’ (Video)

After being taken through Boston Thursday, the Stanley Cup was in New York City on Friday morning where it sat next to Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas and Patrice Bergeron on the set of NBC’s Today Show.

The trio, stars of the Stanley Cup Final, caught up for two minutes with the Today Show crew showing off their new hardware.

“We wanted to do it for the city of Boston,” Bergeron said, amidst screaming fans.

Chara spoke of what it’s like walking through Boston with the Cup, while Thomas said winning it was “up there with the greatest moments in my life.”
