Although the ultimate wish is for another World Series title, Red Sox fans wouldn't mind a few smaller wishes being granted. Locking up David Ortiz for more than one year would be nice, as would an impact right fielder and the compensation from Chicago that has been long in coming after Theo Epstein's departure from Boston.
Once we get all that wrapped up, maybe we can move on to feeding the hungry and all that good stuff.
