Red Sox Announce Game Times for 2012, Launch Sales of ‘Sox Pax’

Red Sox fans can finalize their plans for 2012 now that the starting times for this season's games have been announced.

The Red Sox on Friday released the game times for all 81 games at Fenway Park, and on Saturday at 10 a.m. will begin selling "Sox Pax" and single-game tickets to April and May home games.

The ticket packages and single-game tickets will be available online, by phone or at the Ninth Annual Christmas at Fenway event.

Boston's 2012 home opener will be Friday, April 13 at 2:05 p.m. against the Tampa Bay Rays. The game will be televised on NESN.

The Red Sox will play five Saturday day games at Fenway and have nine weekday afternoon contests scheduled. They will play their yearly Patriots Day game on Monday, April 16 against the Rays at 11:05 a.m.

The Red Sox will be celebrating Fenway Park's 100th anniversary, and to commemorate the occasion, the Friday, April 20 game against the Yankees will start at 3:05 p.m. That is the time of the first pitch in the 1912 game against the New York Highlanders.

The first interleague game of 2012 at Fenway Park is Friday, June 8 against the Nationals.

To purchase tickets beginning on December 10 for the April and May home games, fans can log on to redsox.com or call the automated ticket line at 888-REDSOX6. Fans will be able to purchase "Sox Pax" and single-game tickets to April and May games, with the exception of the April series against the New York Yankees, for which a special random drawing will be held at a later date.

Tickets for the remainder of the season will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans who require accessible seating can call 877-REDSOX9. Hearing impaired fans may call the Red Sox TTY line at (617) 226-6644.
