Vote: Who Should Be Catcher on Red Sox All-Fenway Team?

As of Feb. 26, fans can now vote for who they think should be the catcher for the All-Fenway team.

The first two weeks of voting saw fans vote for the starting left-handed and right-handed pitchers. Now, the Red Sox website wants fans to vote for the best catcher for the team.The voting for each position is staggered throughout the coming months. See when you can vote for your favorite Red Sox legends here.

Rick Ferrell represents the first era of Red Sox catchers as he crouched behind home plate from 1933-37 for the Sox. Birdie Tebbetts and Sammy White caught for the majority of the 1940s and 1950s at Fenway Park.

The ballot works its way up to more recent times with Carlton Fisk, who had plenty of memorable moments as Boston's backstop from 1969-1980. Following Fisk's years, Rich Gedman stepped in and made two All-Star games during his Red Sox career from 1980-1990.

Finally, the ballot concludes with the most recent Red Sox catching great, Jason Varitek. Varitek has caught and called games from 1997 until the present day.

The voting window for catchers lasts until March 12 when the voting opens for second and third basemen.
