In an era in which sports often steal the headlines, it’s always interesting to see where athletes end up when they’re not on their respective playing fields. It’s even more interesting to see who is by their side.
There’s been plenty of rumors circulating lately about potential athlete-celebrity relationships. Kevin Durant is rumored to be dating LeToya Luckett, an original member of Destiny’s Child. They were spotted together at a restaurant, and Durant is believed to have pursued her for a while.
Then, there’s the always popular Kate Upton, who is now believed to be going out with Detroit ace Justin Verlander. She was seen cheering on the pitcher at a recent Tigers game. However, we think she should maybe turn her attention elsewhere at some point.
Who will be the next to hook up? With so many random events, sponsorship opportunities, etc., it’s hard to pinpoint when love is going to be in the air. We have a pretty good idea of what athlete-celebrity relationships would work, though — or, at the very least, that ones that would provide plenty of entertainment value.
