Fab Melo is a big human being. Big human beings are not meant to sit in flimsy folding chairs.
We now have evidence to disprove anyone who argues otherwise.
While hanging out with his fellow rookie class at an NBA photo shoot, one of the Celtics' two first-round draft picks had a little trouble with a weak folding chair.
Melo, who is listed as being 7 feet and 274 pounds, sat down innocently enough when the chair decided it had seen enough. The chair collapsed under the Syracuse product, sending Melo for an embarrassing tumble.
Luckily, Melo was OK, and everyone got a good laugh out of it.
