The chaotic scene at the Boston Marathon on Monday will be featured on the cover of the next Sports Illustrated, as photos of the new issue started to circulate on Tuesday.
Paul Pabst, a producer for The Dan Patrick Show first posted a photo of the SI cover via his Instagram account. Later Jonathan Wald tweeted the cover.
Next week’s SI issue (as seen below) shows the scene on Boylston Street after a pair of explosions went off near the marathon’s finish line. The cover features a marathoner on the ground following the blasts, and four Boston police officers — who like so many brave individuals — quickly sprung into action to help others.
