Patrice Bergeron Becomes Latest of Long Line of Bruins Game 7 Heroes (Gallery)

PBIt may have been just one victory in an opening-round playoff series, but the Bruins’ overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Monday night will be remembered for a very long time both in Toronto and Boston.

Patrice Bergeron buried the game-tying and game-winning goals in Game 7 to send the Leafs packing. In doing so, Bergeron now joins a long list of B’s Game 7 heroes — a list that features names like Adam Oates, Ray Bourque, Brad Park and teammate Nathan Horton.

The B’s have won 13 Game 7s in team history, including victories over the Rangers in 1939, the Leafs in 1941 and the Kings in 1976. Since 1983, the B’s have won 10 Game 7s. Check out a video gallery of each Game 7 win below.
