Alex Rodriguez got quite the reception upon his return to Major League Baseball on Monday — quite a boo-filled reception, that is.

Rodriguez was back in the lineup as the Yankees played the White Sox in Chicago, and the U.S. Cellular Field crowd made sure to do what the rest of baseball fandom could not do in person: mercilessly boo Rodriguez.

USA Today’s Bob Nightengale asked members of the Yankees after the game what they thought about the situation for his story on A-Rod, but he saved perhaps the best quote, from Yankees captain Derek Jeter, for Twitter.
