Red Sox fans will soon be able to relive the magic.
The official 2013 World Series film will hit stores on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The film, which was produced by MLB Productions, captures the Red Sox’ amazing victory over the Cardinals in this year’s Fall Classic.
The film tells the story of the Red Sox’ World Series run through comprehensive highlights, behind-the-scenes access and exclusive interviews, and is narrated by two-time Academy Award winner and avid Red Sox fan Ben Affleck. It figures to be a must-watch for any Boston fan looking to once again bask in the glory of the hometown club’s incredible rise to prominence.
While the film doesn’t go on sale until Nov. 26, a trailer has been released to help set the stage. It shows footage of the Red Sox and Cardinals gearing up for their Game 6 showdown, after which, of course, Boston walked away from Fenway Park as champion of the baseball world.
