There wasn’t much expectation for this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, especially after Beyonce short circuited the Superdome in New Orleans last year, but Bruno Mars ended up bringing the house down at Super Bowl XLVIII.
A pitch dark MetLife Stadium lit up pretty quickly with the spotlight beaming down on a seated Mars in front of a set of drums. Mars picked up the drumsticks and rocked out pretty hard to a raucous applause and thousands of screaming fans.

Then Mars traded in the drumsticks for a microphone. He teamed up with a live band and crushed the stage with some sweet moves.

Oh, and he rocked out with Red Hot Chili Peppers, too.

And, naturally, there were fireworks.
Overall, the show was a pretty big success.
