Boston Bruins fans know just how you feel, Abby Concanon.
The adorable 5-year-old girl from Milton, Mass., was hit hard by the news that Zdeno Chara would be sidelined four to six weeks with a knee injury. Abby was brought to tears just thinking about six weeks without the Bruins captain on the ice as she talked about his injury with her mom in a video posted by the New England Hockey Journal.
The poor little thing took little consolation in the idea of making a get-well card for Chara because she was too distraught over it getting icy, or even worse, thinking about Big Z opening it with his “icy hands.”
Chin up, Abby. Chara and his icy hands will back on the ice before you know it.
