Dwyane Wade is a learned scholar who owns many leather-bound books, and hisĀ apartment smells of rich mahogany.

OK, we can’t confirm those last two things. But we do know that the Miami Heat guardĀ is making good use of his offseason time.

Wade enrolled in and completed a four-day course at Harvard Business School this week. Titled “The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports,” the course focused on “theĀ unique challenges of developing, distributing, and marketing a successful entertainment offering.”

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall also joined Wade in the classroom.

This course isĀ right up Wade’s alley. The 33-year-old always has had interests off the court, which were on full display when he teamed upĀ with LeBron James and Chris Bosh in 2010 to make Miami the center of the basketball universe.

Wade also is in the midst of a contract dispute with the Heat, soĀ he’s probably hoping his extra knowledge can win himĀ some additional cash.
