Adam Bogdan officially has made the most of the opportunity he had to play at Anfield earlier this year.
Bogdan agreed to sign with Liverpool from Bolton Wanderers, the Reds announced on their website Friday. Bogdan will join the Reds on July 1 as a free agent and be one of the goalkeepers in their first team.

Bogdan, 27, spent the last eight years at Bolton, making over 100 appearances for the Trotters in both the Premier League and the Championship (England’s second division). Bogdan also has played 19 games for Hungary’s national team.
Bogdan played sparingly in 2014-15, but his impressive performance against Liverpool in the goal-less draw in January at Anfield in the fourth round of the FA Cup helped convince the Reds to recruit him.
Bogdan likely will back up Simon Mignolet. Danny Ward is expected to be Liverpool’s third-string goalkeeper.
Bogdan is the third player Liverpool has agreed to sign since the end of the 2014-15 season, joining James Milner and Danny Ings as summer reinforcements.
