Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino Threatens To Sue Ronda Rousey Over Steroid Comments

A little trash talk might have some legal consequences for Ronda Rousey.

The UFC bantamweight champion was asked after her UFC 190 win Saturday about possibly fighting Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, and this is what Rousey had to offer.

“I’m prepared to deal with anything,” Rousey said. “That’s why I’m the champ. I fight in the UFC 135-pound division. She can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids, and she can make weight just like everybody else without them.”

Justino, who fights in Invicta FC because of the UFC’s lack of a women’s 145-pound division, clearly was none too happy about the jabs.

If a Rousey-Justino fight were to happen, Justino would fight at 140 and 135 pounds in Invicta first, so the courtroom battle would come long before the one in the Octagon. However, that won’t necessarily work in Justino’s favor, as it’s hard to prove slander against celebrity or a public figure, and her positive test for anabolic steroids in 2011 won’t help.

But either way, it seems as though this saga is far from over.
