Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino To Ronda Rousey: ‘Stop Being A Do-Nothing B—‘

It’s entirely possible we’ll never see a fight between Ronda Rousey and Cris “Cyborg” Justino, but it doesn’t look as though that’ll slow down their rivalry.

Rousey participated in a Reddit AMA on Monday night, and she claimed the reason she hasn’t paired up with the 145-pound Invicta FC fighter has nothing to do with weight. In fact, UFC’s batamweight champ says Justino would have no problem dropping to 135.

“She’s just waiting to be offered enough money to get her ass kicked, ’cause she knows she’ll get her ass kicked,” Rousey wrote on Reddit. “I know for a fact she can make the weight. She consulted with Mike Dolce (Rousey’s current nutritionist) before I ever started working with him, and after consulting with her he said he could get her in ‘the best shape of her life’ at 135.”

As you could imagine, Justino wasn’t too happy about being thrown under the bus, and she shot back at Rousey on Twitter later Monday night.

Justino’s “do-nothing b—-” comment actually is borrowed from Rousey herself, as she said that about UFC 190 opponent Beth Correia ahead of their matchup.

Cyborg also is making an empty offer, as UFC president Dana White already said Monday that Rousey won’t be on the UFC 194 card, which is set for Dec. 12. White also said Rousey’s next fight will be against Miesha Tate because of Justino’s insistence on fighting at 140 pounds in Invicta before dropping to 135.

Either way, it doesn’t look as though the verbal battle between Rousey and Justino will end any time soon.
