Isaiah Thomas’ talent far exceeds his stature, and a few lucky fans in Milan found that out firsthand Tuesday.

Thomas and his Boston Celtics teammates opened their preseason in Italy against Olimpia Milano, and the 5-foot-9 guard led the team with 18 points in a blowout win.

But Thomas was on his game in warmups, too. A few videos surfaced of the 26-year-old throwing down a mean dunk on an alley-oop to himself off the backboard.

Thomas’ head wasn’t exactly “above the rim,” as CSNNE color analyst Brian Scalabrine gushed during Tuesday’s broadcast, but it’s still pretty impressive for the shortest guy on the team.

Both videos also capture a pretty solid 360 dunk attempt from rookie Terry Rozier, but since it didn’t fall, we’ve got to give the nod to Thomas for “best dunk during warmups in a preseason game.”

The C’s travel to Spain to take on the Real Madrid basketball team Thursday afternoon.
