Jake Arrieta pitched a gem Wednesday and made sure to party hard afterward.

The Chicago Cubs ace pitched a four-hitter in the National League Wild Card Game to power the Cubs past the Pittsburgh Pirates. Arrieta was virtually unhittable, striking out 11 and walking nobody in the gem.

After the game ended, Arrieta’s focused demeanor gave way to one of sheer joy and exultation, as the Cubs celebrated the win in the visiting clubhouse. The party featured plenty of booze, and apparently, even Arrieta’s son got in on the fun. Photographers captured the pitcher and his son, Cooper, celebrating in the hallway. That included Cooper helping Dad sip some suds.
