The Houston Astros hope to make their first appearance in the American League Division Series, but they first will have to beat the New York Yankees in Tuesday night’s AL Wild Card Game.
The game will be played at Yankee Stadium because New York finished with the better regular-season record. The pitching matchup is expected to be Masahiro Tanaka (Yankees) versus Dallas Keuchel (Astros).
The winner will travel West to play the Kansas City Royals, who finished with the AL’s best record at 95-67.
