St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley has taken the NFL by storm this season and is the favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Just about everyone has been impressed with his ability to perform at a high level after suffering a serious knee injury at Georgia last season.
Except for Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett, that is.
Gurley ran for 85 yards and one touchdown as the Rams upset the Seahawks in Seattle 23-17 on Sunday. It wasn’t enough to get Bennett excited, though.
Michael Bennett, stoking Rams-Seahawks rivalry, on Todd Gurley: he's average to me, personally. I've seen better running backs.

In Bennett’s defense, 85 yards isn’t outstanding, but Gurley did average 4.5 yards per carry and also high-stepped a Seahawks player in the second half.

Gurley has totaled 1,108 rushing yards through 13 games and is one of just four running backs to hit the 1,000-yard mark this season.
