The Boston Celtics have a great opportunity to start their five-game West Coast swing on the right foot against one of the worst teams in the NBA.
The Celtics are in Phoenix on Saturday to take on the Suns, who own a dismal 20-52 record. Yet Phoenix hasn’t been playing half-bad of late, as four of those 20 wins have come in the team’s last 10 games.
As for Boston, the C’s have started to turn things around in Jae Crowder’s absence, riding a three-game winning streak after beating the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Saturday also will mark Isaiah Thomas’ second trip back to Phoenix since the Suns traded him to Boston in February 2015.
