For sale or not for sale? That is the question regarding the UFC.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported Tuesday, citing sources, that the promotion was on the market and a handful of bidders were in “advanced talks” with UFC owners. The report also said the winning bid was expected to be between $3.5 billion and $4 billion.

UFC president Dana White, however, vehemently denied Rovell’s report.

“The UFC is not for sale,” White told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “The ESPN story is overblown. Darren Rovell is not a fan of facts. His facts could not be further off.”

White stuck with his denial Wednesday morning on “The Dan Patrick Show,” but he did say he’d be all ears for the right price.

“No, we’re not for sale,” White said. “But let me tell you what: If somebody shows up with $4 billion, we can talk. We can definitely talk.”

White, along with Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, purchased the UFC at a reported price of $2 million back in 2001.
